Dr. Ruchimita Pande, presently Associate Professor, Department of music, D G P G College Kanpur. She completed high school and matriculation from U.P.Board with highest marks and position in school for which received government scholarship. Acquired highest marks in graduation, received gold medal from the University as well as U . P. Higher education. Secured highest marks in Post graduation and becoming University topper in Music and received gold medal for the same. Qualified NET, did Ph.D on, “A study of some factors as predictor of performance in music.” Field of specialization, instrumental Sitar. Disciple of late, Pt. Satish Chandra, an eminent and renowned sitarist of our country. Always been actively involved in music performances and related activities. Involved in research and published several articles and research papers in reputed journals of national and international importance. Teaching experience of 18 years both in UG and PG.
