Dr BRIJESH SWAROOP KATIYAR Dr Katiyar is presently the Director of School of Fine Arts and Performing Arts at C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur. He completed his PhD from Kanpur University in 1992. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience in the field of arts. He has authored the book, “Bhartiya Chitra Kala Awam Adhunik Sandarbh” and a book series, “Colour’s Today”. He has received numerous awards including Akademi Award by U.P. State Lalit kala Academic, Lucknow in 1995 and 2005, Mahadevi Verma Award by Shilpi & National Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, All India Camel Colour Award in 1986, Shanti Devi Chaudhary Award in 1984, and Manas Sangam Award in 1993. He has attended, organized and hosted several exhibitions, shows and workshops. He has Attended 35 National & International Seminars on various subjects of Art.
